The Bobcats led by as many as 21 during the fourth quarter and weathered a 19-8 Washington run during the third and fourth quarters.

INSIDE THE LOCKER ROOM
"It’s his greatest asset. One, he’s played on a team that’s had a championship in the Lakers, but also, just the experience and being a little bit older, knowing the phasing of what happens to a Kemba Walker or Byron Mullens. He goes into those huddles and uses a low voice and he just has a quarterback’s mindset. I think that Kemba can learn some of that from him and the youthful exuberance and some of the charisma that Kemba has gets Sessions going as well."
- Bobcats Head Coach Mike Dunlap on the calmness of Ramon Sessions

"Guys are on the same page this year and are buying into what Coach (Dunlap) is trying to bring to this organization. We are all jelling together really well right now. You can’t really ask for much more than that at this point of the season."
- Bobcats Guard Kemba Walker on being 3-3

GAME NOTES
Kemba Walker was the second-leading scorer for the Cats as he dropped 17 points, dished out two assists and had two steals. It was the sixth straight game Walker scored in double digits. The point guard took good care of the ball once again by not committing a single turnover… Brendan Haywood got his second double-digit rebounding effort of the season, grabbing 11 boards along with eight points, two steals and a block… Rookie Jeff Taylor continues to look more comfortable on an NBA court. He had six points, six rebounds, one steal, one block and tied for a team-high with four assists… Byron Mullens also filled his stat line nicely with nine points, six rebounds, four assists, two steals and two blocked shots… Guard Ben Gordon missed the game because of a personal family issue.
