GAME NOTES

-- The hot shooting Hawks took down the Clippers 109-102 at Philips Arena on Tuesday ... Atlanta hit .500 from the floor, the third straight game they've made 50% or better and the fourth-in-five they've topped 100 points.

-- Joe Johnson led the way with 28 points and passed Kevin Willis to move into 6th on the Hawks' all-time scoring list (10,591) ... Josh Smith had another double-double (18 points\10 rebounds), while Jeff Teague scored 21 and Marvin Williams 11.

-- The Clippers grabbed a 28-23 lead after one behind Blake Griffin's 16 points (8-10 FGs) in the quarter.

-- Atlanta came storming back in the second, thanks to a 12-2 run, taking a 52-50 lead to intermission ... The Hawks shot .512 from the field in the opening 24 minutes, while L.A. hit .500.

-- With the score knotted at 70 in the third, Atlanta ended the stanza on a 15-2 burst, taking an 85-72 edge to the final frame.

-- The Clippers crept within 100-96 with just over a minute to play, but Johnson sealed it with 30-foot fadeaway triple as the shot clock expired.

-- Griffin finished with 36 points to lead L.A. and Chris Paul tallied 34 points and 8 assists.
